Ingredient / Batch Weighing
The Vantage Inventory Formula Control Scale is the best way to ensure formulas are weighed accurately and consistently.
The touch screen terminal software focuses on the user experience and is the simplest and most effective formula control scale available today.
The Formula Control Scales can be driven by a production plan, setup either on the scale itself or through a PC, or imported through an ERP System.
Each Ingredient must be weighed within tolerance (green zone is configurable by ingredient) and the operator cannot move to the next ingredient until all the ingredients are weighed at the correct target weight.
The ingredient lot numbers are recorded (or scanned) in during the weighing process to ensure accurate and valid lot numbers are used.
As the weighing process takes place, inventory levels are adjusted in real time, providing perpetual inventory.
Non weighed items, such as tablets or bulk ingredients can be recorded too, enabling the system to capture far more than just the weighed items.
Hundreds of configuration options exist in the standard system, enabling each workstation to be setup to handle almost all applications in the food, chemical, pharmaceutical or bakery sector.
Labeling
Labels can be generated for marking the batch at multiple stages. These labels can be linked to:
- Batch End
- Container Changes
- After each ingredient
- Aborted Batch
- Suspended Batch
- Collation Batch
The barcode generated for the batch is unique and enables the label to be scanned in at further stages in the process. |
